Well after Yesterday's post I decided that I knew for certain what would be the very next pin I tried....
(after calling the plumber that is)
I mean seriously....Look at that brown GUNK all around the faucet! Dis-gus-ting!
My only homemaking retribution is that one my daughters is in charge of cleaning that bathroom.....evidently I have much to teach her still. Otherwise I would have had to photoshop the heck outta clean that faucet before the picture.
This of course would have lead to scrubbing and probably getting bleach splattered all over my clothes and eyes and such...Ewww!
But Pinterest gave me an easier solution yet again.
Enter the CLEANING POWER OF VINEGAR.....
The tutorial states to soak paper towels in vinegar and wrap it around the faucet and leave it there for 20 minutes or so...then scrub the gunk with a toothbrush. It also states that she needed to repeat the process
Ummm....I decided to leave it on for about 2 hours cuz I so didnt want to scrub or waste any time repeating the whole thing of course. Plus my faucet was seriously Naaasssttty!
So I wrapped the facuet up all pretty like....See, an improvement already!
And then I proceeded to do something relaxing for the next two hours since I was doing all this cleaning you see.
Problem.... I broke a very important rule in the process of all this.
You see, I work night shift.... and in working nights there is a rule you must not ever break. You. Do. Not. Relax.... At least not for long periods of time after being awake for 18 hours.
I forgot this rule (
as usual) and promptly fell sound asleep
drooling on my desk ummm snuggled up in my bed.
Needless to say after 5 ish hours I jumped up certain that my pin-tip had now eaten holes in my faucet.
Only to discover......
Beautifulness....The pin actually worked! Yay!!!!
How sweet is that? Soak paper towels, wrap up whatever, and go take a well deserved nap, and poof its clean! Like some freaking fairy godmother..or the maid I keep asking for?
I think I can get into this kind of cleaning.
Imagine the possiblities, the time saving....
I think I need to buy stock in paper towels....seriously.
