Wow! Yet another way to save some big money on the entertainment and things you love. Kgb deals functions similarly to Groupon and can save you some serious cash! 1. Dont let the water run when brushing your teeth. Turn it on only to wet your toothbrush and rinse
2. Use cheap rags to clean the bathroom counters and surfaces. You can wash rags in bleach and reuse over and over again.
3. Use homeade cleaners when possible. I honestly use a mixture of vinegar and water to clean almost ever surface in my house. The smell goes away as the surface dries and you certainly cant get much cheaper than vinegar.
4. Put a small rubberband around the soap dispenser pump to keep your little ones from pumping out too much soap. This helps regulate the right amount for little hands.
5. Refill the soap dispensers with all the shampoo or body wash that you score for FREE with coupons. No sense in paying for pricey soap refills when shampoo or bodywash can work just as well.

As much as I love searching out all the best deals, there are so many things that we can do at home to save money, quickly and easily. All these little things add up to great savings over time. So I thought I would start a series on things that you can do in 10 minutes to save tons of dollars over time.
1. Take a 20 oz bottle, fill it with water and put it in each of your toilet tanks. It will save you money on your water bill by displacing some of the water in the tank.
2. Open your dishwasher after the rinse cyle and let your dishes air dry. This will be a notable energy savings on your bill.
3. Unplug your surge protectors or power strips when not in use. I have been doing this for 2 months now, just in the one room where most of our electronics are and it has saved me at least 10% a month!
4. Lower or raise your thermostat just 1 or 2 degrees depending on the weather. It will make a noticable difference in your bill, and really...who can tell the difference in a degree change?
5. turn down the temperature on your hot water heater. Not only is it safer for the kids, but the savings will help your pocket book!
