Home Sweet Home
Wow! It is great to be home! We totally loved Walt Disney World and had an incredible time. What a wonderful thing it was to completley "unplug" and just spend uninterrupted family time together. With my kiddos ranging in age from 16-3 It can be a bit challenging to find things that we all will completely enjoy.
I think I succeeded with this trip and we made lots of memories to last a life time :-) We had a budget and I stuck to it for the most part. I did do disney on a a pretty cheap budget. We spent less than 3k for 6 of us to spend 8 nights at a Disney World resort and at the parks.
Some things we did:
-We had a 35% off room rate promo code
-We did the Disney Give a Day promotion and volunteered our time for our first (and most expensive day) to be free
-We ate only one meal in the park each day
-The kids earned all their own spending money
-We only did one park per day
Of course I did have some "budget busters"I totally forgot the rewards cards for the lunch at Rain Forest Cafe and spent 12 dollars more than I needed too....
We spent a whopping 15 dollars to have Zach's face painted like Darth Maul. Pricey...but I couldnt have made him happier!
All in all, we had a wonderful time....and all my guest posters did an incredible job! Thank you all so very much! I have a ton of coupons to clip and file....I think I am in deal seeking withdrawl!
Thanks for all hanging around while I got some much needed R&R....I look forward to seeing what deals I can find this week.

glad you and your family had a great time... welcome back! :)
I LOVE Disney. Living in AZ I've only made it to Disney World once, but I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count.
It was worth the money to have his face painted. :) Cute pic!
